Payments and Shipping

Payment can be made via credit card on the payment page. No problem if you prefer to pay via check or cash, contact us directly. 
We ship anywhere and deliver locally. 


Returns & Refunds

 

As these are customized jewelry pieces, we do not accept returns or refunds, but will work with you to ensure you're satisfied with your order.

Warranty

​

We will repair your silhouette jewel within one year of purchase at no additional cost. Beyond the warranty date, we will be happy to repair your jewel for a charge.

​How Do I Provide a Silhouette?

 

If you live in NYC, your subject could come to Weil Studio in Greenwich Village so that we can make the perfect silhouette image for you.

FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS:

​

  • ​Take a profile photo of your subject from mid-chest to the top of the head.

  • Choose a well-lit area and position your subject ideally wearing dark clothing against a white wall or a high-contrast background.

  • Try to avoid lighting from directly above. The background must be brighter than your subject. Use simple, solid colored backdrop.

  • Look at the photo, if there are shadows behind your subject, move your lighting and try again.

  • For the best silhouette effect, ensure the neck is visible. If your subject has long hair, consider tying it up. Please avoid hoodies or scarves.

 

If your first attempt isn’t ideal, we will work with you to get it right. Please send us a high rez photo (ideally raw format).

Does the Pendant come with a chain?

The pendant comes on a waxed leather cord. We also have chains available for sale.

What size is a Pendant?

 

1/2" x 3/4" oval

 

How is a Pendant Made?

 

We engrave a silhouette photo onto a gold or silver toned disk. The engraving is permanent and will not fade.

 

The disk is inserted into a gold or silver pendant and sealed to a glass cabochon using epoxy resin.
